Scope / informational service

Site purpose and informational boundaries

Informational cruise intelligence

Ocean Itinerary is an English-language informational cruise intelligence portal for New Zealand travellers. We publish general material about cruise liners as complete onboard systems, including ship reviews, cabin comparisons, dining, deck infrastructure, entertainment, wellness, family facilities, itineraries, practical navigation, onboard notes, FAQs, and contact information. This material is intended to support general trip research and help visitors understand the kinds of onboard features and practical considerations that may be relevant to them. It is not tailored to your personal circumstances or to a particular sailing.

Operational caution

Independent verification

Information connected with travel can change. Before acting on anything you read here, verify time-sensitive or decision-critical details directly with the relevant cruise operator, carrier, venue, authority, or service provider. This includes itinerary details, port access, onboard facilities, opening times, prices, bookings, health needs, safety requirements, and age or access conditions. Ocean Itinerary does not claim to receive live operational feeds. A page may be useful context for planning, but it should not replace the current instructions, terms, notices, or confirmations supplied by the organisation responsible for the service.

User decision

No professional or transactional service

Ocean Itinerary does not provide booking, travel, legal, medical, financial, or gambling advice. Nothing on the site replaces advice from an appropriately qualified professional, or guidance issued by an operator or authority. We do not take bookings or make decisions for visitors. You remain responsible for assessing information, making suitable checks, and deciding whether any travel, booking, casino, or other choice is appropriate for you.

Access protocol

Acceptable use and intellectual property

Permitted use

Permitted personal use

You may view, read, and use Ocean Itinerary for lawful personal, non-commercial informational purposes, subject to these terms. You may ordinarily share a public page by linking to it where that is lawful. This limited permission does not give you a licence to reproduce, republish, alter, distribute, or commercially exploit site material. Any use beyond ordinary personal reference requires permission unless applicable law allows that use.

Restricted conduct

Prohibited conduct

You must not use the site in a way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive. In particular, you must not:

  • impair, overload, or interfere with the site or another visitor’s use of it;
  • bypass, test, or interfere with access controls or security measures;
  • introduce harmful code, files, or material intended to damage systems or data;
  • collect or scrape site content at scale without permission;
  • misrepresent Ocean Itinerary content as your own or use it unlawfully; or
  • use the site in a way that infringes another person’s rights.

Content rights / site material

Ownership of Ocean Itinerary material

The content, design, text, and original materials on Ocean Itinerary are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Those rights may belong to Ocean Itinerary or to relevant licensors. Except where law permits otherwise, you must not copy, modify, distribute, display, republish, or use site material for commercial purposes without prior permission from the applicable rights holder.

Permission is required where your proposed use goes beyond lawful personal reference or lawful linking to a public page.

Third-party attribution

Third-party names and materials

Ship names, operator names, trademarks, imagery, and other third-party materials may belong to their respective owners. They may appear where lawful and relevant to informational coverage. Their appearance on Ocean Itinerary does not by itself imply endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, affiliation, or approval by Ocean Itinerary or any third party, unless that relationship is expressly stated.

Casino guide / informational only

Casino information and responsible play

Informational casino coverage

Our casino guide may cover poker, roulette, blackjack, table atmosphere, etiquette, opening times, access conditions, and responsible-play information as general information for cruise travellers. Game availability, opening times, table limits, access rules, age requirements, and onboard procedures can vary by ship, itinerary, jurisdiction, and operator. Check relevant details directly with the operator or onboard team before relying on them, especially where access, timing, or participation matters to your plans.

Caution / no outcome advice

No gambling, financial, or outcome advice

Ocean Itinerary does not provide gambling, financial, or legal advice. We do not promise winnings, outcomes, or the availability of any game or table. Gambling can involve loss, and any decision to participate is your own responsibility. Site information is not a recommendation to gamble, and game descriptions or etiquette guidance must not be read as a way to achieve a financial outcome.

Responsible-play guidance

Make informed, personal decisions

If you choose to gamble, consider setting personal limits, taking breaks, and understanding the applicable rules before you participate. Casino access may be restricted by operator rules, jurisdiction, itinerary, and age requirements. Check current conditions with the relevant operator or onboard team rather than relying on general guidance alone.

If gambling is causing harm or feels difficult to control, seek support. You can contact the relevant operator or an appropriate local support service for current assistance options. Responsible-play information on this site is educational and does not replace professional or local support.

Service condition

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Availability and content changes

Ocean Itinerary aims to provide useful information, but we do not guarantee that the website, its content, or any feature will always be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, or available. Content may be updated, corrected, removed, or changed without notice. Technical issues, external changes, and the nature of travel information can affect what is available or how suitable it is for a particular situation.

Visitor responsibility

You use the site and act on its information at your own discretion. Before making travel, booking, gambling, or other decisions, make checks that are appropriate to your circumstances and use current information from the responsible operator, provider, or authority. This is particularly important where timing, access, health, safety, cost, or legal requirements may affect you.

Liability boundary

To the extent permitted by law, Ocean Itinerary is not liable for loss, damage, cost, or inconvenience arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this site or linked material. This includes loss arising where content is incomplete, changed, unavailable, or not suitable for your particular circumstances. You should not rely on site material as the only basis for a decision that requires current operator, professional, or official information.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
